Our first ever design, and one that is sure to become a staple in your wardrobe!! Mermaid Morticia was conceived when our owner, Brit, literally dreamt about this look and grew determined to bring her to life.
The stunning, two-piece gown is made of black stretch velvet, and is an elegant nod to our favorite femme fatale!! The fit-and-flare shape is reminiscent Addams’ timeless dress, and the mesh bat waist detail adds a flattering structural element.
To accentuate her mermaid silhouette, Morticia’s skirt includes a slit lined with red scales (poly // spandex blend) and a sleek, hidden zipper. The top includes this same lining, along with sleeves that can be worn on or off the shoulder, and a bottom-to-top silver zipper with seashell pull. The cropped V-cut of Tish’s top perfectly complements the swooping bat waistline.
Account for significant stretch, with the exception of the waist detail (moderate stretch + boning for shape).
